Building a Foundation for Tax Justice in Nigeria
The Tax Justice and Governance Platform (TJGP) is a broad based coalition of 19 subnational platforms across nineteen states with a National Secretariat managed by a Steering Committee comprising Oxfam, Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, ActionAid, Christian Aid, Centre for Democracy and Development, International Budget Partnership, and the Nigeria Labour Congress.
Since our inception, we have worked tirelessly to promote progressive taxation policies, advocate for transparent tax administration, and educate citizens on their rights and responsibilities within Nigeria's tax system. Our evidence-based research and strategic partnerships have positioned us as a leading voice in tax policy reform and fiscal governance across the nation.
